Chrono Trigger - Excellent Trade Item Glitch

Today, I stumbled upon a cool glitch. Although, I have no clue if it works on the SNES version, so if anyone has Chrono Trigger for the SNES, please see if this glitch works.

If you want to get a bunch of items for the trading hut in Ioka Village (65,000,000 B.C.), go to the Hunting Grounds and wait for it to rain, then find the Nu, but don't fight it. Wait for the rain to clear up. The moment it does, hit the examine button, you'll know when you did it right when the screen dims then lights up again and the monster cry is heard. The Nu will go away and you won't battle, but it'll act like you fought it and won, so it'll give you three of all 4 of the trade type items. Do this as much as you can and you can have 99 of everything with some effort.

Though, with my guys it might be faster to do it the old fashioned way. lol.
