I hate this day

Well im just going to start from the start. When i was 5 my real mother died. My dad soon after got re-married giving me a step mom. Since i was so little i just grew up calling her mom anyway. I believe anyone calling their step-family members by name instead of Mom or Dad is seriously disrespectful to an extreme level. That is unless your like 16+ and your mom/dad gets re-married i can understand becuase that way you sort of know them as a friend before hand. Anyway my point is by getting a step mother i also got 2 step brothers, Chris and Philip. Well Chris was killed in a car wreck about 4 years ago. He feel asleep at the wheel and wrecked. This hit my mother like a freakin train guys. I mean badly so bad she had to start taking medication to keep her from going literally insane. Later on Philip has a wreck, a REALLY bad one. The car had landed on him and he screamed for help a few cars stopped, but went on and didnt help him. One guy finally stops and when they get around 100 yards or so away from the car it explodes blowing it all to hell and back. This hit mom pretty hard to although he was ok. Well i wake up this morning and dad tells me Philip is dead. So im like WTF? He died in his sleep last night around 1: 30. He had been bad on pills a while back (maybe a year or so ago) and i personally think he OD'ed last night. They have him at a place to check him out and make sure what happened. I dont know if you can understand how bad this is going to hit my mother again, but its gonna be TOUGH. To top ALL of that off he had a son thats about 8 now. To even TOP THAT OFF he had a new born son about 2 weeks ago. That is f**king terrible people. I cant stand the thought of that sh*t. I wasnt very close to him in recent years because he was sorta druggie/never around. In my younger years i knew him much better. He is still my brother. I really hope this doesnt drive my mother totally insane, like as to of a point of killing herself. I would HATE to see my dad lose yet ANOTHER wife. Anyway I thank you for your time. I hope his family/mine can pull through this. :'(

i'm sorry...i unlike probably a lot of people here know some what, what your going through...not exactly the same...maybe not worse...but still bad...if your mom does go insane to the point where she kills herself...i've been through that so i'll be here to help you through it if it happens...

Yeah, that's pretty damn bad. Though, remember that there are still others that have it even worse. I could give you a few examples if it would help you cheer up. lol. Like this one girl that I knew in college. She had to raise her 6 brothers and sisters all alone working litterally almost non-stop.

I'm sorry to ear that. If you mother, goes insane, well, you and you father will have to be strong, and give her other reasons to stay alive, tho she has you and you father, loosing a son is really hard.

Thanks guys. I dont think this one hit her near as bad as her younger son who died. Im pretty sure she will be alright.

thats good to hear...if she does go insane though, for later preference, DO NOT try reverse sycology (sp?) it doesnt work
