I like torrential more then dark hold because it blows your opponents summon and can be activated on either turn.

Yeah, but DH is hella funnier when they get arrogant and say, "I'm not worried, I can kill him next turn" then you nuke his field with it.

Yeah, like the early sets that I stopped playing at.

If Kira is in play at the same time as Kyomi Takada, Kira's effects cost half of what they normally would. This effect does not stack with other cards named Kyomi Takada.

If Kira is not in play, Teru Mikami is changed into defense mode at the end of each turn.
Teru Mikami cannot attack unless Kira is in play under your control.

And THAT's how it's done (talking to you, Elemental Hero makers).
None of the cards are too powerful, and they can each be used in any other decks, effectively. They don't all center around a single card or single card type.
Even the Death Note equip spell wasn't too broken since Kira is still removed from the game until end of turn (and he'll lose the equip spell), so you can't use the effect and then direct attack with him or anything cheap like that.
