Getting back to the old coding way...

Since I've installed Wordpress to be the main carrier of the site... Game Content Pages, news, etc... It's been a real mess...

1 - I don't know the wordpress code
2 - I don't know how to skin wordpress
3 - I have to search for plugins to make what I want

and many other things...

One of the big advantages of making your own coding of your website, is to know it... you know what you've done and what you can do. And when a problem comes, you know where to look to solve it. So I'm getting back to my old dreamweaver mx 2004... and code the whole site again... starting from version 5... version 6 of Chocobo Heaven was with wordpress.

I'm going to make a brand new layout... (I'm thinking white... with shades of blue...) If you haven't noticed yet... all my layouts have blue... lloll... (my fav blue color is 345F82 - search for it... :P) and with that layout, i'll make more content. I have to work on it. I also have to check all the error logs of chocoboheaven.com to see if it got any better...

I'm getting tired of it...

The one big catch of this is the news system... I've been a Cutenews user since.... Pure-graphics.org (my first website)... long long ago... but with their new version... with copyright... its a pain in the a**... I could, remove it... I could remover some code, and add some more... I have the knowledge and I know where to look to get help to take it off... But I won't... They worked hard on their script... It would not be nice to take it out... I guess i have to save $40 for the copyright removal...

Seems easier to just script it like you were saying. Saves $40 there for the site.
