Hello!

I have started to become more active here around the forum, and I hope I'll stay that way. I have been working on the main site for.... forever now and had little time to spare for the forums. I ask forgiveness for that. And I have been thinking on how to recover the traffic chocobo heaven had before we were hacked. I already started to register chocobo heaven to topsite listings, in hopes of getting more links in, and more people passing by.

So far, I think we're looking pretty good, we're on the first pages on almost all of them, only 2 days registered and already kickin'... :P

But what we need is some competitions!!! So, what could we do??
I was thinking in making a drawing competition. I think everyone can access to a scanner, of camera to digitize their work and send it. And I think is better than making some work on photoshop, not everyone has that...

But that is just one idea. Please let me know what we can work on.

Hm. Competitions would be good.
Art would be the easiest to display, but....we need to try something that other sites/forums haven't already done.
Maybe a design your own FF monster contest? Or some contest where you get a special kind of points (besides gil, or maybe gil) for each FF paraphanalia item you submit that you can prove is yours. Maybe a "the first to call an admin's cell number after this forum time" contenst. More RPG tournaments? FF game quiz contests?

Nice!! But I'm not giving my cell number... ... lol... But the "Draw your Final Fantasy Monster" seems good!!

And as for prizes, I was thinking in giving money... and then privileges on the forums... Something small to start with...

And Yes, and FF Quizes are on my mind for some time now...

I might work on making some quizes. But I would need questions... and answers to them...

Cash money? That would be a pain to get to them, but it would sure as hell get people here. lol.
Though, I'd prefer to get some of that cash for myself before we gave it out to members.

lolz. Well, I was thinking just some simple questions like, "what's the name of the first person to die in FFIV?" and maybe a tricky one "Who was killed by Sephiroth in the mako factory in FFVII?"

Yes, questions like those.. I'll start a new thread for that. Also I was thinking in making a quiz to know which ff character you are. like the fffan.com character quiz. And I want to make a kingdom hearts too... We'll need questions about their personalities...

About the cash don't worry, CH is receiving some money this month..

lol. I mean like sending it to them through paypal or something would be a pain if not all the members have an account. Not too many ways to wire the money unless we have their real name, address, etc. Would be hard to actually get it to them.

drawing sounds cool. maybe start an avatar contest where you pick a character and everyone has to make the best avatar of them. i like the monster idea, and though i personally would suck at a quiz thats a good idea too.

you could also have people find or make the most creative FF related image (could be a scan) and see whose is the best.
