lol no offence but you don't need a tutorial to build a pc.
Connect the CPU in the CPU socket in the motherboard. You have to know which CPU socket that motherboard supposrts, for example, an Intel Core2Duo has a 775 socket so you must search for a 775 socket motherboard.
There are different rams of different speeds. A normal DDR Ram will be find. There are different ram speeds such as 667mhz, 800mhz and 1600mhz. If you are buying a good motherboard, I suggest a 1600mhz ram with at leat 2gb each.
PSU - 750Watts should be enough to power the graphics card and all of the components.
VGA - This uses a X16 PCI-E interface on the motherboard. You can usually attach only one but good motherboards also support two VGAs.
Soundcard - If you want to hear sounds, you must have a soundcard on the pc. You connect this to another PCI-E slot.
DVD- uses IDE interface.
see, its very simple and I didn't refer to any guids to write this.

Cases, are a important piece for your computer, mainly if you like to keep your computer from freezing by adding a good air flow on it... I personaly like best the thermaltake, have one right now, and the sunbeam acrylic cases... these are soooo cool!
