A lot of the married couples that play the game do this crazy thing. But yes you get married to another of the characters in the game. Those two in the picture are from the USA and the UK, they have become great long distance friends via IM and voice chat .. and there both Paladins if that helps to make sence of it, hehe.
edit: i just remember i have pictures of another friends wedding, this is married couple in r/l and they where pld's too...
