I think human execution, is... necessary. I'm not saying whether it is a good or a bad thing. I'm saying people in a general basis, want human execution for someone who may have raped they little girl and then killed her, or other and even worse things.
I just put myself in the victim position, if someone would do something "worth" the dead sentence, my only wish would be to punch the guy until he suffers more than the person he did the violent act. It a natural process. If I hit you, you'll want to hit me back twice as hard as I hit you first.
Now is Human Execution really necessary? I don't know. I think death is the easy way out. If a guy who kills 30 men/women and children is sentenced to be executed, he will be dead in the time they chose, after that he won't be facing more guilt, or anything else. Now if he lives and suffer every single day from what he did, I think that is the best punishment.
And sure, people CAN change, it takes a lot of work, but it is not impossible and it's part of human evolution. We upgrade everyday our technologies, "our" children grow stronger and smarter every day. People can always change if they wish it. Now if people wish to change and don't work for it, it may never happen.
