Nobuo Uematsu has been composing FF music since the very first Final Fantasy.
If you play Final Fantasy I, you can find many tunes and things that were used again. I think the opening theme for Final Fantasy I was the Prelude, which is in many FFs.
Also, other things like chocobos (duh
) and Bahamut were also in FF I. =D
