Which means that I somehow picked ALL the wrong answers and ended up pissing off EVERYONE......just perfect.
Maybe it's just too sensitive. It seems a character has to have at least a certain number of points before s/he is considered to be a good enough friend to be coupled with the epitome of awesomeness that is Fayt (in-battle self, that is! Not the "Okay, we'll get you some Spring Water. *finds spring* I have the Spring Water. *goes to fairy* Here, Spring Water." Fayt).

I only got the Alone ending, Sophia ending, and Adray ending (favorite so far) over the span of 10+ playthroughs. Granted, only 2 were story-viewing/100% completionist styled trials.

All the Endings are on youtube by a user named ramzacloud if you'd ever like to see them. I haven't spoiled myself yet because this game still maintains decent interest.

I saw mention of it in an SO3 guide, but no specifics.
This one's got the goods

Affection isn't terribly helpful considering it only covers two aspects---Evil Fayt's partner (well, this can be big if you have extreme trouble with a previously encountered duo and NEVER want to face them in the same room together AGAIN) and an Ending. Although I think it affects AI behavior such as who gets Healing and when, characters going after enemies targeting a different character that the one character holds dear, etc...

Sad how the AI of the game can use attacks better than the player that spent over 400 hours on the game, huh?
XD Yes.

In my case both Maria and Mirage's AI can Crescent Locus chain really well, but when I try it the enemy ends up falling on the ground too soon. *sweatdrop*

**Spoilers**
Don't worry, Santa told me to stay clear of your house a while back. He says there must be a lunatic living there, making crazy VREE VREE VREE sounds the last time he flew over.

I always used those slow bug things and the spiders. There's a really good spot....I think on floor 180 where you can go in, battle (only monster there), run to the exit a few steps away, run back in, and then battle it again, Simply repeat and you got some quick kills there. I managed to kill them with an Air Raid and Eth Blast and had Cliff and Sophia on cleanup for the ones it missed. lol.
Ooooh, I'll keep that spot in mind. Fish can be more aggressive at times than the bugs.

Heh, Cliff and Sophia on cleanup.

Cliff: "Max Shockwave!" *massive damage*
Sophia: "Fire Bolt!" *non-existant damage*

Yes, yes, reeks of Cliff bias.

I know what you mean. T_T
Though, it's always fun to play those turn-based ones that you played in the good ol' days for nostalgia. Those I can still tolerate.
I have no problem enjoying those normally. It's just... the powerleveling has been tweaked down a few notches.

FF7- file back from FF obsession days with Level 99 characters on Disc 1 [somehow thought something special would happen for maxing Aeris' Level out ;_;]

Most recent file... Level 55-60 chars at the final boss. Powerleveled for a while, but the anticipation of the results from doing so died soon after, so that was ended. Aside from that, a great nostalgia run that kept a good number of positive feelings once experienced.

Just fine by me considering I've got less time on hands than the junior high period. But when I do get a streak of free gaming time and want to get something like that done... ugh =P

Though, even I have my limits. All flash and no substance (i.e. KHII) bores the hell outta me even if it IS fully realtime.
What kind of substance stuff is missing?

I kept getting the colors mixed up. @_@
I was like "wait, yellow is earth and green is wind.....wtf?"
A quick nostaliga run of Chrono Cross and its Element System provides all the color education you need for Star Ocean 3 XD

But yeah, when you play with ONLY Fayt the entire time, you tend to learn to connect his attacks. lol.
So you're the Fayt guy, and Gondor is the Albel one, huh.

Have any interesting spars in the Versus Mode before?
