When you purchase a computer, you do not open the cover. Unless you know what you are doing. If you are building your own computer, you need to have much experience.
It seems like to me, that you are saying that your old trash can is way stronger, then today's hardware. Your computer is old, disgusting, terrible OS, can't even multitask on that junk.
I didn't say stronger. Though, I sure as hell can multitask on it. Normally, I have 2 or 3 firefox browser windows, 12 IM windows, trillian, and some downloading somewhere behind it all with no lag.
Yes, it's older, the only disgusting thing was the 10 year old ketchup on my last computer (still on my keyboard, and still not sure how that happened ), and the OS seems to be working just fine for me. Haven't errored down once.

But yes, my dad was a computer technician for Bally, Midway, and a lot of other large companies back then. He's destroyed entire worldwide companies, just by quitting.
That enough experience to say he can build me a good computer?

Me: What? I can go to the grocery store and get a pound of bacon for $2. If I'm paying $5 for a cup of coffee, they better make it taste like I want it to taste. I want my coffee to taste like bacon. Is that so wrong? Is it so wrong to want bacon coffee?
