Ok, so I went to the tournament that I had organized, but only four people showed up (one didn't play and the other left after 10 minutes), so we didn't have it.
But, I did get to sit there and play cards with a guy that had, coincidentally, come to that card shop on that exact day because he was in quiz bowl at his school, even though he lives two hours away. He grabbed his deck and his friends were there, and they got so scared that three of the four of them wouldn't play me. The one guy that did, beat me by only ONE card with my Elk token deck. If I had had only ONE card more, or he had ONE card less, I would have won. The match was so awesome that I really didn't care that I lost.
When I offered him to play against my undefated black/white deck, he ran with his tail between his legs.
Oh and the best part. The shop owner had some extra promo cards left over from the last tournament for all those who participated, so he gave them to us for free! My two friends didn't want theirs, so they gave them to me!!
