You people don't read.....this is CHAIN OF MEMORIES he's talking about. The red balls in CoM were Moogle Points. You could use Moogle Points at Moogle Shops to buy special little card packs. What you got in those packs depended on how far you were in the game, what kind of pack it is, and how much of your card library is completed.
