Doesn't matter if a character leaves or not. In Grandia III, one of the strongest characters leaves the party for about half of the game and only comes back right before the final boss battle. You actually have the most powerful character in the game with the most powerful attack in your team up until that character returns and the aforementioned character leaves and gives the returning character the most powerful attack. That doesn't mean you should abandon her from your party.
It was a warning, not an infraction and I am not trigger happy. I would have chewed out any member that flames another. It's not like I'm picking on you.
