I gave a legitimate point, any pro gamer would know that with an RPG you should most often use the characters that won't end up leaving the party at some point in the game.
Also notice; not all of the characters start out with the same Licenses so you would choose a character that would best suit your needs so you don't end up training for hours on end to get the weapon and armor you want. Obviously by the time you have a full license that doesn't matter anymore, but why waste your time when you can just start with someone who is close to your designated license?
