Default Final Fantasy:Crystal Chronicles Review

Okay, since there was never a post in this topic I decided to make my own review. <.< [How generous of me!!!]
This is my first review so don't laugh. <<

Graphics~7.5/10
Gameplay~7/10
Sound~7/10
Fun~8.5/10

After a ten year absence, Final Fantasy has returned to a Nintendo console in Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles. But if you've been playing the role-playing game series for a long time, this might not be the return you expected. Crystal Chronicles is a real-time action RPG unlike the other games in the series.
~Story~
Square has been known to create unique story lines and dramatic gameplay but with Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, it looks like they wanted to try something new.[And most of the time Square is bound to screw up while trying something new] . Anyway, a poisonous miasma covers all the land, kept at bay only by large, magical crystals that repel the murk. Each town has one of these giant crystals at its center that protects its people, but here's the catch: The crystals' protective effect fades after one year and must be recharged with myrrh taken from myrrh trees. Year after year, caravans roam the world collecting myrrh to keep their hometowns safe just a little bit longer. You'll play the part of a valiant hero. You can customize your hero by choosing the name, tribe gender and hairstyle. Your character is saving his or her village by questing for the myrrh trees, one of which is conveniently located at the end of each of the game's many and sundry action levels. Once you've collected enough myrrh to replenish your crystal's power, you'll return home to celebrate, visit your family, and prepare to start another year's journey. That's pretty much it for the plot--it's a little weird, but at least it's unique. [Right?]
~Multiplayer~
Now, a problem. This game does support four player co-op,but not in the way you'd expect. You must connect four Gameboy Advances[SP's work fine] using a Gameboy~Gameboy connector per player.Annoying? In my opinion, this is a major thumbs down. Overall this a decent game worth...renting.

OVERALL SCORE~7.75/10
